We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HSE Advisor Trainer Assessor to join our growing team on site at Sino Iron Ore. This role is well suited to someone looking to further develop their career in HSE, particularly in the mining sector. About the Role Position: HSE Advisor Trainer AssessorRoster: 2:1 or 12:9 (subject to roster requirements)Location: Sino Iron Ore, Cape Preston (FIFO from Perth)Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Managing incident reporting and corrective actions in line with company procedures Assisting our HR team with injury management and return-to-work processes Liaising with client HSEQ representatives on project, system, and compliance requirements Advising site personnel on legislative, safety, environmental, and corporate compliance obligations Conducting HSE inspections, audits, and follow-up of actions Supporting hazard identification, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives Preparing weekly and monthly HSE compliance reports, KPIs, and performance data Managing all round feedback, including complaints and commendations Promoting a positive safety, health, and environmentally responsible workplace culture Delivering HSE training, VOC assessments, toolbox talks, and assisting with training coordination Preparing and maintaining HSE documentation and records in accordance with document control requirements Attending HSE meetings and undertaking other reasonable tasks as directed by management Qualifications Australian C Class Drivers Licence Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (Diploma preferred) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or newer) Construction White Card Working Safely at Heights / Confined Spaces Entry Current First Aid Certificate Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong interpersonal skills and approachable demeanor to engage and support all personnel Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining sector (Desirable) Pre-Employment Requirements Undertake and pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test prior to commencement Be clean-shaven to allow for the correct use of a P2 respirator Apply now and join our growing team!
