The Midwifery Informatics Manager is responsible for the establishment, management and monitoring of maternity informatics platforms and associated data across NBMLHD. The Midwifery Informatics Manager will work with ICT, eHealth and vendors to upgrade maternity informatics platforms and with the Information Management & Analytics Team to align with NSW Health guidelines and policies and meet mandatory data collection and KPI requirements determined by the Ministry of Health. What You Will Bring To The Role Current authority to practice as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a minimum of five (5) years full-time equivalent post Midwifery qualification experience. Relevant tertiary qualification in health informatics and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant industry experience which includes working knowledge of eMaternity, K2 Guardian and QIDS MatIQ. Demonstrated high degree of computer and data literacy and data analysis skills. Competency in using Microsoft Office products, spread sheets, databases, statistical software and health systems e.g. eMaternity, Cerner eMR and K2 Guardian. Proven ability to provide leadership, manage resources and drive change effectively with a demonstrated commitment to professional development. Demonstrated ability to communicate clinical digital health concepts and information to clinical and non-clinical teams and provide advice on clinical issues from a digital health perspective. High level verbal and written communication, including the ability to prepare and present high quality, clear, concise and accurate reports, briefings and other correspondence. Ability to provide input, interpret, monitor and evaluate data, paying attention to detail to ensure data integrity and validity.
