Work Type: Full Time About the Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a new law firm in Brisbane. Unlike the risks of a typical start-up; this venture is fully funded. All the funding, the operational infrastructure, and most importantly a reliable, immediate stream of clients is all ready provided. The goal is to build the next generation of a "union-based" law firm, a proven model that created many national personal injury law firms. You will have full professional autonomy to build the team, shape the culture, and drive the firm''s growth from day one. Key Responsibilities As the Founding Principal, you will: Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of excellence. Drive the firm''s operational efficiency, financial performance, and strategic growth. Assume ultimate responsibility for the quality, conduct, and compliance of all legal matters. Oversee the firm''s core services in Employment/Industrial Law and Personal Injury Law. Serve as the primary counsel and face of the firm within our membership community. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A current (or the ability to obtain) Principal Practising Certificate in Queensland. Preferred proficiency and experience in both Industrial/Employment Law and Personal Injury Law . A genuine entrepreneurial spirit with commercial insight. Proven experience in leading and mentoring a high-performing legal team. The ambition to build a legacy practice on an uncommonly stable foundation.
