Development Director/State Manager - QueensalndSenior Leadership Role | Land and Built-Form | Growth & Delivery FocusA progressive and growing development business with a strong national footprint is seeking an experienced Development Director or State Manager to lead and grow its Queensland operations.This is a senior executive/leadership role offering full accountability for the performance, culture and growth of the Queensland business. The successful candidate will provide clear strategic direction, lead a high-performing team and drive the delivery of financially successful developments that contribute meaningfully to the communities they serve.The RoleIn either a Development Director or State Manager capacity the role will take ownership of the Queensland business and its people, driving profitable financial outcomes through the successful delivery of multiple projects.Key responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring and developing a multidisciplinary Queensland team, fostering a high-performance, values-led cultureBuilding a strong leadership pipeline through effective recruitment, succession planning and performance managementSetting clear expectations, accountability frameworks and continuous improvement systems across the teamManaging the Queensland office as a profit centre, with full responsibility for budgets, forecasting and financial performanceOverseeing the delivery of a portfolio of development projects to agreed program, financial and design outcomesProviding high-quality reporting and insights to the Executive and BoardDriving growth through site acquisition, joint ventures and capital partnering opportunitiesRepresenting the business with key partners, government and industry stakeholdersYouYou are a seasoned property development leader who enjoys building strong teams as much as delivering strong commercial outcomes.
