Each Branch provides support services to internal and external stakeholders that are aligned to the Public Trustee business objectives, operations and corporate reporting and governance.The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial operations and reporting for the Public Trustee. This includes oversight of finance operations, systems, budgeting, monthly and annual statutory reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Please provide examples to support your claims.Demonstrated experience in a contemporary financial management role, and Government financial management requirements including the Financial Management Act 2006 , Treasurer''s Instructions, the Audit Act 2003 , Australian Accounting Standards and regulations within a medium or large government organisation.Demonstrates a strong understanding and extensive experience in financial accounting and operations, including banking, receipting, and payments.
