Tenterfield Care Centre, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is currently hiring passionate and dedicated Casual Kitchen Hands and Catering Assistants to join our vibrant hospitality team. Help us deliver highquality, homestyle meals that support the health and wellbeing of older Australians in our care. Kitchen Hand Positions - What You''ll Do Assist in meal preparation and plating according to dietary needs Support a respectful, highquality dining experience for residents Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standards Ensure correct utensils and portions for each resident Contribute to a safe, welcoming environment with every service Catering Assistant - What You''ll Do Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, food storage, and dining areas Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and follow daily cleaning checklists Help with the setup and service of meals to residents in dining rooms or individual rooms Ensure all kitchen and food safety regulations are followed, including correct storage and labelling Communicate any dietary concerns, resident feedback, or safety issues to relevant staff What We''re Looking For No formal qualifications required - we provide training! Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (desirable but not essential) A passion for food, respect for the elderly, and commitment to quality service NDIS Check (or willing to obtain) Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential Why Join Us?
