OverviewGardening & Maintenance Worker Forrestfield$32.86 $34.59 + super + salary packagingFull-time or part-time openings availableWeekdays only, no public holiday workingHome garaging, salary packaging options and more benefits availableResponsibilitiesA gardening and maintenance role with a twist of compassion and community.Rise has Gardening & Home Maintenance vacancies in Perths Eastern Suburbs working either Monday to Friday (full-time) or Monday to Wednesday (part-time) 8.00am to 4.06pm each day. In this role, you will travel to our aged client homes (approximately 56 per day) and find purpose, helping with tasks including lawn mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, pruning, leaf blowing, sweeping, and window & gutter cleaning.Rise will provide a work vehicle along with all required tools, equipment and PPE. If youre in a full-time role, home garaging is available, so you can take the vehicle home and dont need to attend a Rise site at the start or end of your day if you prefer. For part-time roles, the vehicle will need to be collected from and returned to our Forrestfield depot.Note: Formalities (The serious stuff!) apply to appointments for this position.Appointments to this position will be subject to a National Police Check and pre-employment medical assessment with audiometry test. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.QualificationsThe need-to-haveGeneral experience in gardening, home, and property maintenance with knowledge of using garden maintenance equipment (desirable but training is provided)Cert III in Landscaping Construction or Cert III/IV in Horticulture (desirable)Ability (and preference) working independentlyAbility to safely bend, kneel and lift correctly to perform duties safelyFirst aid certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to obtainValid driving licenceFormalitiesFormalities (The serious stuff!)Appointments to this position will be subject to a National Police Check and pre-employment medical assessment with audiometry test.
