Our ambitionThe OpportunityWe are looking for a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. Please note: this role is 30.4 hours a week, Monday Thursday with shifts between 8am 5pmWhat you''ll doPhysical set up and operation of the wash up area and thorough clean down area at the end of shiftEnsuring all kitchen equipment, dishes, cutlery and glasses are cleaned to HACCP standards and are returned, dry and stacked in appropriate order and locations throughout the kitchen, storage areas and meeting roomsAssisting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparationPerforming basic kitchen tasks such as peeling, cutting, and washing vegetablesHandling and storing food items properly to maintain freshness and prevent contaminationFollowing health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environmentAssisting in the setup and breakdown of buffets and equipmentReceiving and checking deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctlyWorking collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during serviceProviding support to all the Client Services team when required i.e. room set upsWhat you''ll bringA current certificate in safe food handlingGood organisational skillsBasic food handling / hygiene training or knowledge ofPrevious experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred or be eager to trainQuick turnaround timeGood communication skillsVast knowledge of food preparationStrong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standardsConsistent professional presentation standardsAn innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.What you can expect from us We''re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
