Then you have the magic to be Team Merlin at SEA LIFE MelbourneAbout the RoleWe are seeking a full-time Electrician Maintenance Technicianto join the SEA LIFE team. The role will primarily involve daytime hours, but as the attraction operates 7 days a week, some weekend work will be required, along with participation in an on-call roster.Reporting to the Head of Technical Services, your role will focus on ensuring all electrical and building systems are functioning optimally to support smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities include:Performing electrical maintenance and repairs across the site, including Life Support Systems and general building infrastructure Conducting Test and Tag procedures in accordance with AS3760 and maintaining accurate records Diagnosing and repairing small refrigeration systems Carrying out general and preventative maintenance tasks, including basic mechanical, carpentry, and plumbing work Responding to building alarms both onsite and remotely Assisting with contractor and supplier coordination, particularly for electrical and technical services Conduct pre-opening and routine preventive inspections of building assets.About YouYou will be highly self-motivated with the experience in building maintenance.Holding an ''A'' grade Electrician licence alongside Australian cabler registration is considered advantageous but not required.This is a fast paced, guest facing environment no two days are the same - so the ability to think on your feet, problem solve and use your initiative will be key in this role.You are a strong communicator and are able to build rapport across the business.
