We would like to offer our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in becoming a Fire Wardenat our current Parramatta office (1PSQ), with the role transitioning to the new 6PSQ location in March 2026.This is a part time, 36-month / 3 year termopportunity where you will perform additional duties in conjunction with your existing role. Employees engaged under the WaterNSW EA will be eligible for a nominatedFirst Aid and Fire Warden Allowanceas per the agreement, commencing the pay fortnight after training completion. Note:You must be able to cover a minimum of 2x days per week at our current Parramatta office, 1PSQ and in our new office at 6PSQ.The Role: As a Fire Warden, you will perform additional duties in conjunction with their existing role, to assist WaterNSW with ensuring our people''s safety by directing others at their designated location in an emergency or evacuation. Key accountabilities include and are subject to ongoing review and improvement:Attend initial and ongoing refresher training, including an annual emergency exerciseRemain familiar with applicable emergency management plans and procedures for the nominated siteImplement the emergency response procedures for the nominated siteParticipate in the development of WaterNSW emergency management plans as requiredPromote effective emergency preparedness at the nominated siteWhat we are looking for:Mandatory: Being located at the specific site with regular attendance working in the office and able to cover a minimum of 2x days per weekin the existing Paramatta office at 1PSQ and in our new office at 6PSQFavourable:Previous experience as a fire warden and/or current or expired qualifications as a fire warden or first aiderShould you wish to express your interest, please complete the online questionnaire (scroll down to the bottom of the page).No CV or Cover Letteris required as part of the application submission.
