Overview A rare opportunity for Assistant in Nursing to join the fast-paced environment of the Transit Lounge at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). The position is permanent part time, 14hrs per week. Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Assistant In Nursing Remuneration: $26.93 - $29.55 per hour Hours Per Week: 14 Requisition ID: REQ637501 Where you''ll be working: The Transit Lounge at Royal North Shore Hospital consists of 7 beds and 14 chairs, catering for patients transitioning through the hospital. These patients are either being admitted to hospital or being discharged to home or other facility. The Transit Lounge also provides a service to patients who are accessing various outpatient services and are awaiting transport back to their home. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:30 (these times may be subject to change). What You''ll Be Doing Provision of support to the nursing team in order to deliver a high standard of care to NSLHD patients. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care). Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team. Need more information?
