The OpportunityWe are looking for proactive, curious and future-minded students with a keen interest in problem solving, the corporate world and operational excellence to join us for our four-week internship this winter from the 29th of June to the 24th of July 2026 in Melbourne.About the Internship ProgramAs a Corporate Functions Intern at the Future Fund, you will have the opportunity to join one of our enterprise-wide functions and gain an understanding of how they partner with the wider Agency to support the purpose of delivering strong investment returns. You''ll complete a relevant project that makes a real difference to life at the Future Fund, shadow a knowledgeable mentor who will guide you through the corporate world and build relationships with key stakeholders. Throughout the program you will have the chance to meet with industry leaders, develop key business skills through targeted workshops and listen to subject matter experts give talks on a range of interesting topics.PlacementsInternship placements are available in the following teams: Project ServicesThe Project Services team develops partnerships across the Agency to deliver strategic programs, coordinate timelines, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Suited to students studying business, commerce, or technology with strong communication and planning abilities. Finance TaxThe Tax team supports the review of investment structures to manage tax risk, monitor global tax developments and uphold global compliance standards. Best suited to for commerce, business, or finance students with an interest in corporate finance. Finance AccountingOur Accounting team leads budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable, and payroll operations, plus fund accounting and reporting. Learn how corporate and investment accounting align with governance and Government reporting frameworks. Suited to commerce or business students with a detailoriented mindset. Corporate AffairsCorporate Affairs aims to build understanding about the organisation and its purpose. The team uses a variety of traditional and digital channels to connect with internal and external stakeholders. Work across communications, external relations, sustainability, and thought leadership supporting campaigns, content development, and stakeholder engagement. Ideal for communications or public relations students with strong writing and storytelling skills. RiskThe Risk team plays a critical role in safeguarding the Agency''s operations and reputation. We design and maintain the risk and compliance frameworks, partnering with business units to identify, assess, and manage risks while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, organisational policies, and ethical standards.
