Overview Sydney Based - Package circa $170,000 - $180,000 Maxlife Care is a leading provider of specialist high-needs disability support, delivering personalized and clinically robust care to participants with complex needs. As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Head of Nursing & Clinical Education to provide strategic clinical leadership and oversee workforce capability across the organization. This role is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for both clinical governance and clinical education, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based care for all participants. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership of clinical care in collaboration with the CMO and clinical team. Oversee clinical governance frameworks, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. Lead the development and delivery of clinical education programs for nurses and support workers. Develop and deliver clinical education content to safely onboard new participants to Maxlife Care and to evolve clinical education throughout the participants stay. Promote a high standard of evidence based clinical care to all clients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge. Provide Executive Leadership Team and Board-level reporting on clinical outcomes, risks, and quality indicators. Be the face of Maxlife Care across multiple participant stakeholders and provide confidence that Maxlife has the right systems, processes and people to manage the clinical and behavioural needs of every participant. About You Minimum five years post-registration clinical and or clinical education experience. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. Extensive experience in clinical education leadership, particularly within complex care environments. Strong capability in managing complex clinical and behavioural presentations. Demonstrated experience leading and developing nursing teams. Experience in clinical risk management, governance, and continuous quality improvement. Background in NDIS, disability, aged care, or other complex care settings.
