It is home to Air Command where the mission is to raise, train and sustain air and space power to meet Government objectives. This small base often hosts community events with scenic walking tracks nearby, as well as a pool, gym and tennis courts. The clinic provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1630 Mon-Thurs, and 0730-1400 Friday.
