PropTrack plays a critical role in REAs strategysupporting growth, differentiation and trust across our consumer experiences, subscription products and enterprise partnerships. The Role As Director of Engineering, PropTrack, you are a senior technology leader responsible for shaping and delivering the engineering strategy that underpins PropTracks data platforms, analytics products and insights capabilities. You will lead multiple engineering teams building and operating scalable, secure and reliable data and software platforms. Working closely with Product, Data Science, Design and Commercial leaders, youll ensure PropTrack can move fast, deliver high quality outcomes and continue to innovatewhile maintaining the trust and reliability our customers expect. This role balances strategic leadership, technical leadership, people leadership and delivery excellence, with a strong focus on enabling PropTracks growth and impact within REA Group. What Youll Be Doing Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned to PropTrack and REA business goals Lead, coach and develop Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders Set the bar for engineering excellence, architecture and sustainable delivery Own delivery outcomes, system health, reliability and security Partner with Product, Data Science and Design to shape roadmaps and priorities Bring commercial judgement to investment, resourcing and platform decisions Build strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders Who Were Looking For Extensive experience leading engineering teams at scale, ideally in datarich or platformled environments A proven track record delivering complex, highimpact technology products or platforms Strong understanding of modern software and data engineering practices Experience leading leaders (Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers, TPMs) A pragmatic, outcomefocused leadership style with strong people development capability Confidence operating in ambiguity and influencing senior stakeholders Commercial acumen, with experience owning or influencing budgets The REA Experience The physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something well never stop caring about.
