We are determined to reach our goals, as we hold ourselves and each other accountable Role Summary The Admissions and Onboarding Advisor is responsible for supporting students through a seamless end-to-end journey from application through to enrolment, commencement, and the early stages of study through to census at JMC Academy. Working within a national operating model and with primary responsibility for allocated state/campus/course, the role manages domestic and international applications and supports students through onboarding and early transition to study. This includes assessing and validating documentation, issuing and managing offers, coordinating acceptance and commencement requirements, delivering structured onboarding communications and outreach, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records across CRM and Student Management Systems, and providing clear, timely communication to applicants, commencing students, and internal stakeholders. The role continues to support students beyond enrolment through proactive outreach, engagement initiatives, and events such as Orientation, using student data and engagement insights to identify students who may require additional support. The Admissions and Onboarding Advisor delivers early interventions where appropriate and coordinates referrals as required, working collaboratively with Sales and Conversion, Student Services, and relevant national teams to ensure a consistent, connected, and student-centred experience through to census. Key Responsibilities Application Processing Assess student applications for eligibility based on course entry criteria. Validate supporting documents (ID, transcripts, certificates, English proficiency). Ensure compliance with JMC policies; follow up on incomplete applications. Offer and Acceptance Management Generate and issue Offers of Admission, CoE, and OSHC. Monitor offer acceptances, update CRM and Student Management Systems. Ensure all conditions (payment, documents) are met before enrollment. Compliance and Eligibility Ensure applications meet regulatory requirements (TEQSA, ESOS, funding eligibility). Manage visa checks and international student compliance. Maintain records for audit and compliance purposes. Onboarding and Engagement Deliver structured onboarding, proactive communications, and engagement initiatives. Coordinate Orientation events and track student engagement metrics. Identify at-risk students and provide early intervention support. Liaison and Collaboration Work with Sales, Student Services, Academic, and Marketing teams to enhance the student experience. Provide timely updates on student applications and onboarding progress. Act as a point of contact for applicants and students. Systems and Reporting Maintain accurate student records in CRM and Student Management Systems. Contribute to reporting for applications, enrollment, and student engagement. Flag trends or recurring issues to inform process improvements. Key Attributes and Experience Experience in tertiary admissions, compliance, and student services. Skilled in using CRMs, Student Management Systems, and reporting tools. Proven ability to manage applications from submission to enrollment. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail. Student-focused with the ability to engage and support students through their transition. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (TEQSA, ESOS). Experience in managing international student applications.
