We aim to help people live extraordinary lives every day, connected to communities.Were looking for an Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-level administrative and logistical support to the Company Secretary, support governance practices, and manage board processes.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Company Secretary to prepare and distribute meeting agendas, board packs and other documentation; attend Board and Committee meetings to record accurate minutes and follow up on action items.Maintain accurate records of board activities, registers, minutes and resolutions.Draft correspondence, reports and other documents for Board-related communications including meeting schedules, deadlines and events.Manage the administration of the organisations electronic board portal.Serve as point of contact for board members on administrative and logistical matters (e.g., travel arrangements, expense reimbursements).Facilitate regular review of legislative requirements, monitor updates and confirm compliance with internal stakeholders.What Youll NeedMinimum of five years experience in supporting a governance or company secretarial role in a corporate environment (or similar executive administrative role).Knowledge of corporate governance practices, legal compliance requirements, and risk management.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience using board management software with ability to draft agendas and compile board packs.Ability to accurately record Board and Committee meetings with clear, concise minutes within required timeframes.Strong written and verbal communication, and high attention to detail in document proofing.Working With UsWere committed to being an employer of choice and offer a positive, supportive environment with the following benefits:Not-for-profit salary packaging options up to $15,900 for general living expenses and $2,650 for entertainment benefits.Corporate health insurance discountFree employee assistance programProfessional development and growth opportunitiesPaid Parental LeaveFlexible working arrangementsHow To ApplyTo express your interest, please apply with an up-to-date resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and suitability.Additional InformationIf progressing to interview, well require: National Police Clearance (current within 6 months or evidence of application), a completed pre-employment health questionnaire, and qualifications.About UsEstablished over 50 years ago, Southern Cross Care WA is a not-for-profit organisation contributing to social, health and economic development in WA.
