OverviewThe Bacterial Respiratory Infectious Diseases Group (BRIDG) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the Blitz-OM program. This role is central to progressing innovative therapies from formulation and manufacturing through to early clinical trials, ensuring robust governance, compliance and high-quality research outcomes.ResponsibilitiesSupport formulation, manufacturing and clinical research activities through early-phase trials.Manage ethics, governance, regulatory and reporting requirements, including TGA and international guidelines.Oversee contracts, procurement, budgets and grant management in collaboration with internal teams.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, collaborators, funders and development partners.Contribute to strategic planning, funding diversification and high-quality publications.Foster a collaborative, inclusive and psychologically safe team culture.Role detailsBased at our Nedlands, WA offices, this is a part-time (0.50.6 FTE), fixed-term contract for two years.About YouMSc or PhD with research experience, or equivalent relevant professional experience.Demonstrated project and program management experience within research or clinical environments.Strong financial, grant and contract management capability.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.Proven ability to lead collaboratively, work autonomously and support diverse, multidisciplinary teams.Experience in product development and/or knowledge of the pharmaceutical or publicprivate partnership landscape (desirable).Diversity and inclusionAt The Kids Research Institute Australia, we are committed to building a workplace culture that reflects the communities we serve.
