About the Role As Program Manager YHaRS you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the delivery of Youth Housing and Reintegration Services in Toowoomba supporting young people aged 1221 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness including those exiting or having exited Out of Home Care. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality traumainformed culturally safe services that support young people to access stable accommodation, education, training, employment and community supports. The role is responsible for ensuring service delivery aligns with best practice funding and contractual obligations, legislative requirements and organisational priorities. This is a Permanent FullTime position based in Toowoomba. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and operational oversight to teams delivering YHaRS services supporting highquality consistent practice. Oversee service delivery for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness including those transitioning from Out of Home Care. Ensure programs are delivered in line with traumainformed practice, contractual requirements, funding agreements, budgets and business plans. Monitor caseloads, performance data, quality and risk providing handson support and escalation where required. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, policies and service delivery frameworks. Lead partnerships with Child Safety, housing providers, education, employment, health and community services. Promote culturally safe practice including engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and community groups. Identify and manage risks and emerging issues impacting service delivery and client outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement, workforce capability and positive team culture. Skills & Experience A recognised degree qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology or Social Sciences or related field. Significant experience in youth homelessness, Out of Home Care, child protection and/or youth justice environments. Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex communitybased service delivery. Strong understanding of traumainformed practice and the challenges facing young people exiting care and experiencing homelessness. Highlevel leadership, coordination, critical thinking and reflective practice skills. Welldeveloped communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. Current Queensland Drivers Licence. Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
