Project Manager - Electronic Security IndustryMy client is a well-established specialist in the design, installation, and support of integrated electronic security and life-safety systems across critical sectors including mining, education, health, and infrastructure. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of multiple concurrent projects and ensure delivery excellence from contract award through to commissioning and handover. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who understands that protecting margin, forecasting accurately, and managing variations proactively is just as important as delivering on site.The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the planning, execution, and close-out of security and life-safety projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining strict compliance with quality, safety, and licensing frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from contract award to commissioning and client handover.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and resource plans.Protect sold margins through disciplined cost control and timely variation management.Ensure compliance with QMS, HSEQ, EHS&C, and licensing requirements.Lead site meetings and resolve delivery issues promptly.Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to meet program milestones.Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.Technical & CommercialReview designs, drawings, and technical documentation for constructability and accuracy.Support commissioning, testing, and client demonstrations as required.Monitor financial performance and provide accurate cost-to-complete forecasts.Contribute to post-project reviews and process improvement initiatives.People & Client ManagementMaintain clear, professional communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.Provide leadership and direction to Site Supervisors, Installers, and Commissioning Technicians.Escalate risks, delays, cost pressures, or quality issues early.Keep senior leadership informed with concise recommendations and options.Foster a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and integrity.Promote compliance through site audits, toolbox talks, and SWMS/JSA adherence.About You5-8+ years'' experience delivering electronic security, electrical, or automation projects.Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.Strong understanding of project financials, procurement, and contract administration.Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, intercoms, and integrated security systems.Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills.Experience withMicrosoft 365SimPROAconex, BidContenderMS Project or equivalent scheduling toolsAutoCAD, BIM 360, Bluebeam (advantageous)Licences & QualificationsWA Security Installer & Consultant Licence (current or eligible)Construction White CardNational Police Clearance (within 12 months)AGSVA Baseline or NV1 (current or eligible)C-Class Driver''s LicencePreferred certifications: Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, ICTCareer PathAs the business continues to grow, Project Managers will gain exposure to larger, multi-site and enterprise-grade projects, with a clear pathway into Senior Project Manager or Operations leadership roles based on performance and commercial acumen.Apply now if you''re a commercially minded Project Manager who takes pride in delivering high-quality security projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
