Job Description As a Schools Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in inspiring the next generation of students to choose Griffith University. Working closely with the Future Students Manager, this role delivers dynamic outreach programs with partner schools showcasing Griffith as a leading tertiary destination.You''ll bring learning to life through engaging inschool workshops, oncampus experiences, and career development activities for students in Years 912. Collaborating with the Future Students and equity teams, you''ll build strong partnerships and create meaningful pathways to higher education, with a strong focus on priority cohorts including Indigenous students, Pasifika students, students with disability and refugees.About youYou''re someone who brings a passion to the Future Students team, professionalism, and a drive to promote and build relationships.You will also have:Demonstrated ability to design and deliver student transition and support initiatives, supporting students into appropriate tertiary education programs.Experience working with diverse cohorts, such as Indigenous students, Pasifika students, students with disability, refugees and underrepresented groups in higher education.Proven relationship building skills, with the ability to promote university outreach programs whilst working collaboratively with internal teams, schools, community organisations and external partners.Experience delivering outreach and equity programs, including coordinating recruitment, selection, training and supervision of student mentors from diverse backgrounds.Strong understanding of student engagement strategies, with the ability to review, evaluate and continuously improve outreach activities to maximise student participation and impact.What we can offerThis is a full-time, continuing position based at the Griffith University Nathan or Logan campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.Base salary will be HEW 6 range $91,843 - $97,964per annum + 17% superannuation. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation $107,456 - $114,618.
