What is our Project Officer role? The role of Project Officer is to support projects and new initiatives in the Public Health Intelligence (PHI) team at Boorloo (Perth) Public Health Unit. The role is responsible for planning, implementation and maintenance of data management systems, workflow automation, and analysis of health data; collaboration with the Public Health Intelligence team and/or relevant stakeholders is required to develop and explore innovative techniques for improving routine work (disease surveillance and control and immunisation), establishing new research initiatives, and enhancing public health service delivery; ensures any projects and initiatives are compliant with relevant policies and upholds the services values.
