Our clients goal is to efficiently and consistently deliver outstanding results and excellent value for money for all their customers.About our clientThis professional painting and decorating firm are working on a wide range of residential, commercial and new home projects across the Ballarat Region down to the surf coast. The pipeline of new work is bursting, and they now seek another skilled and qualified full-time painter to join the team. The work is full time and ongoing.LocationLocation work locations are across the Ballarat Region down to the surf coast. Their base is located in Ballarat North.TenureThe role is full-time and ongoing.SalaryNegotiable in the range of $77k to $82k plus superannuation per annum.ResponsibilitiesPainting to the highest standard of workmanship - surface prep, as well as mixing and matching.Working with a deep understanding of OHS practices and requirements, apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures.Washing, scraping, sanding and/or smoothing interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing or applying other related materials.Thoroughly cleaning equipment, paint mixing area and work area.Installing, repairing, and maintaining all sorts of internal surfaces, walls to ceilings.Competently erect and use apparatus (ladders and planks) to work safely at all heights.Identification, safe handling and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials.Working with pride!Qualifications and attributesPossess relevant trade Certificate Level IV or agreed substitute.Have a minimum of three or more years of working experience in the field, since you acquired your qualifications.Well experienced in all aspects of the painting trade.Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork, patience, and empathy.Comfortable working in a team or independently.A clear Drivers License is essential.Eager to secure a full-time salaried position so this role is not suitable for sub-contractorsYou must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.ApplicationsPlease respond to the recruiters using the facilities on this site, and ensure you attach your updated CV.Kogan People Solutions are grateful for all applications, but kindly note that they will only respond to shortlisted applicants.Kogan People Solutions recruitment excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
