Join Tetra Tech Coffey as an Environmental Scientist in Darwin, managing diverse environmental projects with expert teams and clients across the NT. Your Role Heres what you will be doing: Conduct hazardous materials/asbestos assessments and inspections Perform occupational hygiene monitoring and asbestos fibre counting Manage field programs for contaminated site investigations including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, and validation Observe, guide, and record site remediation activities Handle data management, interpretation, and quality assurance/quality control Assist with writing proposals, project correspondence, and technical reports Engage with clients and contractors, delivering and managing end-to-end projects Collaborate with hazardous materials & occupational hygienists, environmental scientists & engineers, geologists & hydrogeologists, and remediation and waste management consultants Work closely with sister companies Eco Logical Australia, Norman Disney Young, and RPS About You What you''ll need: Tertiary qualifications in environmental science(s) or relevant field work experience Confident communication and strong relationship-building skills Ability to work remotely within NT including shifts away from home Full Australian drivers license Previous relevant field/site work experience is advantageous Can-do attitude and commitment to career development Compensation & Benefits Flexible work arrangements, study breaks, and leave purchase plans allowing up to 8 weeks annual leave per year Opportunities to work across diverse projects, clients, and sectors Professional memberships Reward and recognition program Participation in company ownership through employee stock purchase plan Paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers Employee assistance program available to staff and immediate families Training & Development Mentoring and professional development opportunities with approachable technical experts Coaching to support career growth as an environmental specialist This job may close before the stated closing date, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible #J-18808-Ljbffr
