The Opportunity We''re currently offering casual roles with a clear path to permanent employment to join our team in Chinchilla. This is a casual position offering long shifts, flexible rosters, and the potential to move into a permanent role for the right candidate. You''ll earn competitive hourly rates with casual loading, penalty rates, and plenty of overtime available. As an Offsider / Field Operator, you''ll work closely with the primary operator to support vacuum truck operationsplaying a vital role in safely collecting and disposing of waste while upholding the highest safety and environmental standards. What You''ll Be Doing Assisting with setup and operation of vacuum truck equipment during rig cleaning and waste removal Supporting nondestructive digging (NDD) to safely expose underground utilities Performing washbay servicing, including wastewater removal and disposal Collecting, segregating, and disposing of waste from rig camps and other locations Carrying out physically demanding tasks in varied field conditions Following all site safety protocols and environmental regulations Communicating effectively with site personnel to ensure smooth, efficient operations What You''ll Bring Previous experience in machinery operation, labouring, or plumbing Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks Experience in the Coal Seam Gas (CSG) industry or current CSG inductions is highly desirable Waste management experience is a plus, but not essential What We Offer Entrylevel role with career growth opportunities in the waste management industry Flexible rosters and weekend shifts available Early starts (6 AM) with long shifts 25% casual loading on top of your base hourly rate, penalty rates, and plenty of overtime A supportive, safetyfirst team culture Career development in a stable, growing industry How to Apply To join us, you''ll need to pass a police check and complete a preemployment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
