An opportunity now exists to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in Australia''s Defence environment and support national security requirements of the Nation.UGL Defence has an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels network.We are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor, to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.About the roleManaging a Regional team of Maintenance Agents (MA) responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of Maintenance Services to ensure delivery of fuel operations, fuel quality, fuel tanker and associated equipment operations.Key responsibilitiesLead, motivate and support the MA and their teams in the effective delivery of MA Services ensuring high standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed, achieved and expected performance targets are metIncrease the operational resilience of the DFN to be able to respond to fuel supply demands and requirements to meet Defence''s operational and preparedness needs.Support and participate in key IR matters when required including Right of Entry requests, Enterprise Agreement bargaining activitiesMonitor and test the implementation and maintenance of security at all DFI.Monitor and report on the Contractor''s supply chain across all regional DFI locations in respect of the Services provided at those locations.Establish and maintain effective communication across the site and with all local client stakeholders, including ensuing the MA''s remain fully informed on relevant issues and any communication to outside parties impacts positively on UGL.Improve the performance and operation of the Regional DFI over the Term to optimise the Total Cost of Ownership.About YouRelevant tertiary technical qualifications (e.g. Engineering, Asset Management, Electrical Engineering) or relevant trade qualifications (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical etc.)Current holder or able to obtain NV-1 Security clearance10+ years experience in the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical industry including supervisory experienceExperienced in implementation of client aligned strategic progression planning and optimisation of maintenance management systems and processesAbout UGLAs a member of the CIMIC Group of companies, we value diversity in our team''s backgrounds, ideas, work styles.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourage applications from women, people with disabilities, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, mature aged workers and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds.What we offer Enjoy access to flexible working arrangements Benefit from 16 weeks of paid primary parental leave.
