The successful applicant will oversee daily operations of the Senior School Inclusive Education team, lead the implementation of targeted learning support programs, and work collaboratively with staff, students and families to ensure an inclusive, safe and equitable learning environment.With a strong focus on evidence-based practice, student wellbeing and partnership, the Head of Senior School Inclusive Education plays a key role in advancing the Schools inclusive education strategy and supporting every student to achieve their potential. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and operational oversight of Inclusive Education services in the Senior SchoolLead the development, implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Student Support Groups (SSGs)Oversee learning adjustments, interventions and assisted learning programs for students requiring additional supportSupport compliance and evidence collection for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)Provide expert advice to teaching and support staff on inclusive practice, curriculum adjustments and differentiationSupervise and support Inclusive Education teaching staff and Student Support OfficersWork closely with wellbeing teams, Heads of House, Heads of Department and external providers to deliver coordinated student supportTeach targeted intervention programs and co-teach within classrooms as part of the roles teaching component About YouThe successful candidate will be an experienced, highly skilled teacher with demonstrated leadership in inclusive education. You will bring:Appropriate teaching qualifications and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registrationProven experience in inclusive education and educational leadership (formal or informal)Strong knowledge of NCCD requirements, disability legislation and inclusive education frameworksExcellent communication, collaboration and organisational skillsA strong commitment to student wellbeing, child safety and evidence-based teaching practicePostgraduate qualifications in education, particularly in Inclusive Education, will be highly regarded.
