About the role A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a Technical Lead for a new business venture. We want this critical role to shape the both the MVP and the future direction of the product. You will play a pivotal role guiding the technical vision and execution of our digital platform. Working in a small but dynamic team, you will take a strategic role, building a technical roadmap for success, and supporting the development team to hit their goals. At your core, you have strong technical expertise but are committed to doing any kind of work to deliver business outcomes in a small team. You are a strong leader, inspiring confidence and fostering a collaborative environment, with an eye for the future. Expect to be the bridge between the technical and non-technical stakeholders, focused on ensuring that everyone is on the same page. You need to be able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, be open to feedback and focused on the customer. You will be a strong problem solver, able to think critically and creatively, and translate to action quickly. You should be able to identify potential issues before they become major problems and develop innovative solutions. In addition, you will: Have an openness to learning new technologies and skills. Adapt to changing project requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. What youll need: Proven experience (+5 years) in a technical leadership role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment. Extensive experience with full-stack development and cloud technologies (Azure is preferred). Experience using technologies such as PHP, NextJS, .NetCore, Nginx. Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and API development. Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
