About the role As our Senior P&C People Partner, you''ll be the trusted advisor that leaders turn to when they need strategic guidance, practical solutions, and someone who genuinely gets it. You''ll have your finger on the pulse, seeing what''s coming before the business does and anticipating needs before others even realise they exist. You''ll be hands-on across the full employee lifecycle - from championing engagement initiatives and leading talent conversations, to coaching leaders through complex ER matters and driving organisational change. You''ll spearhead key initiatives from our People Plan while also rolling up your sleeves for the day-to-day work that keeps our organisation humming. Most importantly in this role you will be influencing decisions, shaping our people strategy, and creating solutions that truly move the needle. A typical week or two might look like this: Build genuine partnerships with senior leaders, becoming their go-to for all things people Design and facilitate programs that lift capability, engagement and performance Lead talent discussions and succession planning to build our leadership pipeline Manage employment relations cases with empathy and expertise Drive change initiatives that stick (because you know how to bring people along for the journey) Use data and insights to make intelligent, people-centered decisions Create learning experiences that help our people grow and thrive Support talent acquisition campaigns that attract diverse talent and ensure inclusive recruitment practices Coach leaders at all levels to become better people managers Support a culture where psychological and physical safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement thrive About you You''re a well-rounded P&C professional with 7+ years of experience who can seamlessly shift from strategic planning to rolling up your sleeves on the BAU. You have a degree in Human Resources or equivalent. You''ve built trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, handled complex ER matters, and successfully led and executed change initiatives. You are a curious, practical problem-solver who loves finding creative solutions. You are naturally proactive and understand the difference between urgent and important. Your influencing skills inspire change, guide decision-making, and create positive impact across all levels of the organisation. You''re energised by new challenges and excel at applying your experience in innovative ways, with a talent for anticipatory thinking that keeps you one step ahead. You''re a confident presenter and facilitator who can engage diverse audiences and bring people along on the journey. Finding coaching moments and coaching leaders comes naturally to you, and you are inspired by helping leaders enhance their people management capabilities. Your understanding of employment legislation and how the legislative landscape is evolving is interesting to you and you operate confidently with compliance and risk management. Your emotional intelligence allows you to build strong relationships, navigate challenges with excellent active listening skills. Highly organised yet comfortable with pivots and transitions, you''re passionate about P&C best practice and have the pragmatism to make it work in the real world, ensuring alignment with both commercial objectives and the well-being of teams.
