Overview Clinical Director General Medicine JPS Medical Recruitment Regional QLD, Australia The Role: Clinical Director of Internal Medicine to lead the medical team at a busy regional hospital. In this leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, support clinical service development, and foster a culture of teaching and professional growth. Reporting to the Director of Medical Services, youll work closely with other clinical departments to drive strategic direction and service integration. The position also involves supervision of junior medical staff and medical students. The Facility A level 3 facility 70 inpatient beds Offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics. Mental Health, Alcohol and other Drugs Service, oral health, physiotherapy, dietetics, speech pathology and outreach/community-based facilities The Requirements MBBS or equivalent to be eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in General Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. This will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in the specialty of General Medicine.
