Our Senior Quality Officer plays an integral part in ensuring that Capability Support continues to deliver personalised, trauma-informed and professional services that improve the lives of people that we support. We achieve this by embedding evidence-based frameworks to inform, deliver and improve our services; as well as actively and systematically seeking, acting and reflecting on feedback from clients, staff and stakeholders. Reporting to the Director Quality, Risk and Compliance, the Senior Quality Officer works closely and in partnership with Capability Supports Key Management Personnel and organisational leaders to ensure we continue to meet, and build upon, our high quality standards. Note: This role equates to a SCHADS Level 6 Duties & Responsibilities Support the development of policies and procedures throughout the organisation Support the design, development and implementation of systems, tools and processes that achieve quality outcomes for: Operational risk identification and management Ongoing reporting and audit obligations Formal standards and regulatory codes appropriate to Capabilitys needs An evidence-based Therapeutic Model Continuous and business improvement opportunities Any other business need Identify and implement appropriate tools to monitor and improve business and operational performance across the organisation, including through the delivery of an internal audit program Engage with external stakeholders from regulatory and oversight bodies, including quality auditors, and others when required Provide collaborative advice and guidance to staff at all levels on compliance with a range of standards and legislation, including in relation to: NDIS provider registration, quality and safeguarding Care and Protection / Out of Home Care Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulated restrictive practices reporting Provide advice, guidance and practical assistance to managers and supervisors on incident reporting, complaints management, investigations and corrective actions where required You will also oversee and support the work of the Quality Officer Key Requirements Experience with risk, quality, WHS, audit and/or compliance management Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work to changing priorities Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build productive working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisational and time-management skills Current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or capacity to gain this Current CYF clearance, or capacity to gain this Current Police Check, or capacity to achieve this Roadworthy, registered and insured vehicle Highly desirable Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications (business, administration, risk, legal etc) or equivalent experience Awareness of trauma-informed care approaches Current First Aid and CPR certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
