This rewarding role supports adults with disability one-on-one or in groups, in their homes and occasionally in the community. You will work closely with individuals to implement personalised plans that address their unique needs and goals. No one work day (or night) will be the same! You might support clients with:working towards their goalsshopping, appointments and eventsdaily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene and mobility, andovernight care.About YouWe''re looking for people who are passionate, have a great attitude and an eagerness to learn. You''ll share Yooralla''svaluesand have:a positive approach, initiative and self-motivationwillingness to be committed to empowering our clients to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday workeffective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clientsability to work collaboratively in a diverse teamwillingness to support clients with personal care activitiesAustralian Driver Licencethe right to work in Australia, andThe ability to get a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate if you don''t already have one.A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience or an interest in community services would be great, if you already have any of these.
