The home offers both permanent and respite care in a supportive, compassionate environment, providing assistance with daily living, personal care, and dedicated 24-hour nursing care. Lyrebird Village is a place where residents feel supported and connected, and where staff are proud to be part of a caring team making a meaningful difference every day.As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a calm and reassuring presence for our residents, delivering thoughtful, person-centred care within our aged care community. This role suits an RN who values meaningful connection, clinical autonomy, and continuity of care, and who is flexible to work night duty.Working within your AHPRA scope of practice, you will use your clinical expertise and sound judgement to support residents wellbeing, respond to changes with confidence, and contribute to a culture of dignity, compassion, and excellence in aged care. This permanent part-time position offers stability, strong team support, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference in residents lives, around the clock.No two days are the same!As Registered Nurse you will:Complete ACFI assessments and clinical documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance and supporting optimal funding and care outcomesMaintain high-quality, contemporaneous documentation that accurately reflects care delivery and clinical decision-makingProvide clinical leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, supporting safe practice and professional standardsAlways uphold confidentiality and ensure staff work safely and in accordance with organisational policies and proceduresProvide clear, concise shift handover and reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, and identify training and development needs within the teamAbout YouYoull thrive with us if you have:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with no restrictions to practiceDemonstrated clinical experience, preferably within aged care or a related healthcare settingSound knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and best practiceStrong clinical assessment, decision-making, and documentation skillsEffective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including night duty, as requiredPerks & BenefitsAs a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries.
