This position is store based working within our Trade team.You will have previous sales experience using P.O.S and experience with cash handling. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role, having a passion for outstanding customer service.What you will be doingBeing safe as safety is part of our everyday cultureDeliver excellent customer service through counter sales, quotes, delivery orders etc.Goods inwards proceduresStock replenishment, Adhering to store retail standardsPicking and packing ordersUsing POS and other technical systemsWhat you will bringGreat attention to detailAbility to navigate and utilise computer systems and technologyAbility to multi task in a dynamic fast paced trade businessAn understanding of the Timber & Hardware market with previous experience is desirable but not essentialAbility to work closely in a diverse teamA current forklift licence an advantageAbout UsFor over 50 years Mitre 10 has been the local and independent hardware store to thousands of Australians.
