With 80 years of experience, Cordina continues to bring new concepts to the market and help our customers create unique points of difference.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Primary Processing & Yard Operations Manager to oversee the full operational performance of our live bird receival and primary processing functions at the Girraween site. This pivotal role ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operations while upholding the highest standards of product quality, animal welfare, and safety.What You Will Be Responsible For:Leading all yard and primary processing operations including hanging, offal, and evisceration.Driving compliance with COR.Driving performance against key production metrics such as throughput, yield, downtime reduction, waste minimisation.Ensuring exceptional compliance with HACCP, GMP, WHS, animal welfare and biosecurity standards.Providing handson leadership to multishift teams, building capability, engagement, and high performance.Collaborating proactively with QA, Engineering, Farming team, Secondary processing, and Senior Leadership.Managing labour planning, equipment utilisation, workflows, and production schedules.Leading continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Cordina''s culture of innovation and continuous evolution.Ensuring audit readiness across customer, regulatory, and internal compliance frameworks.About YouExperience in poultry, meat, FMCG, or other highthroughput processing operations.Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety systems, WHS, animal welfare, and biosecurity.Proven ability to lead large teams across multiple shifts.A structured, datadriven approach to problem solving and performance improvement.Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across departments.A passion for creating safe, supportive, and high-performing workplaces.Why Join Cordina?Be part of a respected brand synonymous with quality, heritage, and innovation.Influence key operations and contribute directly to Cordina''s continued success.Work with a passionate, collaborative leadership team.Enjoy opportunities for continuous learning and career development.We are an Australian owned family company with 65 years experience in the poultry business, and Cordina Farms are the Australian market leaders in the extremely competitive ''Value Added'' sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
