WA Premix is currently recruiting for a Labourer to work at our Spearwood Batch Plant. About The Role This role will be based at Spearwood Batch Plant. You will reportto the plant supervisor, assisting with the maintenance of the plant, equipment and upkeep of the concrete batch plant maintaining a clean and presentable state. The successful candidate may be trained in the running of WA Premix wet batch plants. Key Responsibilities Basic maintenance of the plant Maintain general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment. Remove residual concrete from the mixing vessel or drum using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions. Use highpressure hoses or air compressors to clean hardtoreach areas. Follow all safety protocols while cleaning confined spaces. Report any damage or maintenance requirements to supervisors. Skills and Competencies MUST HAVE Valid Australian Drivers License Forklift license will be highly regarded Excellent organisational and time management skills Excellent people skills to cooperatively work and liaise with the team. Strong literacy and numeracy skills Mechanical Aptitude All successful applicants will be required to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Preemployment Medical prior to offer of employment.
