We are currently seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Bert England Lodge, our aged care home located in Rockingham. Bert England Lodge (BEL) is a 44 bed facility offering care for people with diverse needs including dementia, palliative care, and high care requirements and is located close to Rockingham General Hospital. To be successful in this role, you will have experience in cleaning ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture. This role is being offered on a permanent part-time basis working 65 hours a fortnight. Shifts will be from 7am - 2pm Monday to Friday. About You Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment Have a can do attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations minimum of one covid vaccination and annual flu vaccination Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one) The Role Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy Ensuring supplies are stocked across the facility Liaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are met Ensuring residents'' personal clothing is individually labelled and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mending Working with Bethanie Many of us work because we want to make a difference.
