Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we''d love to hear from you.Have you supported a friend or loved one with a mental health issue and/or suicidal crisis or attempt?Part time (26.6 hours per week) ongoing role in Townsville, QueenslandSCHADS Level 3 (up to $40.62 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging benefits)The Support for Families, Friends and Significant Others of People at risk of suicide Program has a unique opportunity to offer carers, who are so deeply impacted by a suicide attempt or a loved one experiencing suicidal crisis, carer peer support.About your new roleAs a Peer Family Support Worker, you will be potentially linking participants with other community support services and provide gentle psychoeducational tools and guidance on things that can support an environment of support, understanding and confidence.
