Jaydo Construction is an Australian-owned company with over 50 years of experience in contracting and construction services for the civil water & sewerage infrastructure industry.We are specialists in complex water and sewer infrastructure projects and are known for delivering successful outcomes in drainage, water, sewer, pump stations, water storage, and wetland infrastructure projects across various authorities, local governments, and the land development industry.About the roleAre you an experienced Float Truck Driver looking for an exciting new opportunity?We have expanded our fleet with a brand new Volvo FH16 780HP 6x4 Float Truck and 70-tonne spreadable deck trailer with dolly.This is a new and dynamic role supporting our civil water infrastructure and urban development projects across Victoria. You''ll play a key part in moving large plant and machineryincluding excavators up to 50 tonnesafely and efficiently between our business units and project job sites.Our head office (main yard) at Carrum Downs will be your daily commencement location. Our projects are around the Melbourne Metro and Greater Metro development areas.Key responsibilitiesSafely operate a Volvo FH16 780HP 6x4 float with 4-axle spreadable deck and dolly.Transport large earthmoving plant and equipment (up to 50 tonnes) across Melbourne and regional Victoria.Conduct secure loading, unloading, and tiedown operations in line with NHVR and company safety standards.Liaise with project teams to coordinate equipment delivery schedules across civil and urban worksites.Complete daily and weekly truck maintenance and safety checks, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and road safety in builtup and hightraffic areas.About youDemonstrated experience transporting and operating large plant in civil infrastructure and urban environments.Strong knowledge of load restraint, heavy vehicle compliance, and safe float operation on Melbourne roads.Good time management, selfmotivation, and reliability.Experience in routine truck maintenance and inspections.A commitment to teamwork, safety, and delivering excellence.Skills / QualsClean Driving HistoryInterested?To learn more about Jaydo Construction and the projects we deliver, please visit www.jaydo.com.auOr our Linkedin page meet every single requirement?
