The Opportunity The Shire of Victoria Plains has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, selfmotivated and teamoriented individual to fill the role of Plant Operator in Calingiri. Applicants should possess developed skills in the operation of plant and machinery used in the maintenance and construction of roads. Previous experience in a similar position will be well regarded; however, training will be provided for the successful applicant. You will learn everything there is to know about the plant and equipment used to do the job safely and expertly. The role has an anticipated commencement for an immediate start. Responsibilities & Qualifications You will demonstrate a genuine passion and the resilience required for physical work outdoors. You will be able to work in a team or unsupervised, always taking pride in producing great outcomes for our community. You will be physically fit and have a "cando" attitude. Have a "HR" class licence as a minimum; HC licence preferred. Australian work rights are required for this position. Benefits Salary based on the EBA Award 2020, with ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 depending on experience, plus 12% Super Guarantee and Industry Allowance.
