The four facilities consist of two maximum security prisons (HM Prison Barwon and Western Plains Correctional Centre) and medium security prisons (Marngoneet Correctional Centre and Karreenga Annex). The BSW Prison Services Team provides both operational and administrative services to HMP Barwon, Marngoneet Correctional Centre and Karreenga Annex. About the Role The Video Conferencing Officer delivers highquality support and administrative assistance to the Barwon Southwest Prison Precinct by coordinating all video conferencing and professional phone link functions across Barwon, Marngoneet and Karreenga. Some of your duties will include: Undertaking administrative functions to ensure the efficient provision of all video conferencing and phone link services to Barwon, Marngoneet and Karreenga. Liaising directly with external stakeholders, including central VCCU, to make critical amendments to on the day schedules and communicate the changes with custodial staff at locations to ensure men are physically presented on time for appointments. Liaising with private legal providers to schedule teleconferences and phone links between the men in our care and their legal representatives.
