Overview Urgent Requirement for an IT Manager (hands-on technical role)Permanent full-time positionBased in Adelaide CBD (on-site opportunity / No Work from Home) Talent have partnered with a professional services firm in seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the delivery, security and performance of its technology environment across multiple office locations. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring reliable, secure and high-quality IT services that support staff and organisational operations. You will provide strategic and practical guidance on technology, risk, and operational improvement, while also offering hands-on leadership across infrastructure, end-user support, cyber security, vendor management and project delivery. What Youll Lead Day-to-day IT operations, ensuring systems are reliable, resilient and well-supported End-user support, service management practices and continuous improvement Maintenance of core platforms including servers, networks, identity, storage, telephony and collaboration tools Asset lifecycle management, licensing, procurement and documentation Cyber security frameworks covering identity, patching, endpoint protection, monitoring, incident response and recovery Business continuity, disaster recovery planning and testing Vendor and supplier relationships, including SLAs, contracts and renewals Delivery of IT and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and effective risk management Contribution to organisational strategy, operational efficiency and cross-departmental collaboration What You Bring Demonstrated capability in network and information security management Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact Experience managing vendors, contracts and service performance Proven project management experience across infrastructure and systems improvements Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a strong customer service mindset Expertise across: Microsoft 365 and Intune Windows Active Directory and identity management Collaboration platforms and intranet/extranet environments Firewalls, secure networks and managed WAN environments Additional Information This role includes the supervision of an IT Support resource and may require occasional out-of-hours work to support operational needs or planned changes.
