This role is for an experienced and dedicated Receptionist on a part-time basis, working 3-4 days per week, at our GP clinic in Wyoming, NSW.Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and be the first point of contact for patient support and enquiries.ResponsibilitiesHelps patients by scheduling appointments and maintaining records and accounts.Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.Optimizes patients satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patients arrival.Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions, and maintaining the reception area.Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges.Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.Protects patients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.In Your ToolkitTo be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:At least one year experience in a similar medical receptionist positionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisation skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and work independentlyHighly organised and excellent time management skillsA positive can-do attitudeProficient computer skillsIf you believe you are the right person for this position, apply today and dont miss out on this exciting opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
