Overview PRINCIPAL MECHANICAL ENGINEER AND CAPABILITY LEAD If you believe good engineering is as much judgement as calculation, youll feel at home at Phronis. Were seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer who will also act as Capability Lead for our mechanical discipline a role for someone who wants to remain deeply technical, while shaping how great engineering gets done. The role This is a principal-level technical role first . Youll be the guardian of our mechanical engineering offering setting technical direction, leading complex problem-solving, and bringing calm, credible judgement to high-stakes decisions. Youll also own and evolve our mechanical capability : mentoring and coaching emerging engineers engaging with trusted contractors and partners building our brand to secure an energising pipeline of projects shaping workload, standards, and delivery rhythm ensuring our people stay challenged, supported, and proud of the work they deliver This role is all about stewardship of people, craft, performance and reputation. Your technical foundation Senior experience across infrastructure environments such as energy, renewables, water, mining, materials handling, or industrial plant.
