Role Purpose Garden Street Gin Club are seeking a Head of Marketing & Performance to lead our brands communication and performance marketing. With demonstrated performance marketing and communications experience, you''ve honed your expertise in driving growth in the e-commerce or agency sector through data-driven strategies. Your analytical mindset and deep understanding of consumer journeys will be instrumental in uncovering insights that redefine how we measure success and continuously optimise our approach. Key Responsibilities You''ll drive customer acquisition across all brands and manage a team and external agency relationships, delivering performance through the continuous optimisation of our communication including paid media, creative strategy, landing pages and offers, personalisation and data-driven decisions. Work with the founders of Garden Street, becoming an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and lead the Marketing team to execute on the strategic priorities of the company Lead the brand experience across both Garden Street Gin Club and Barrel Lane Whisky Club and new projects Develop and lead the Garden Street marketing strategy and execute on customer acquisition and retention goals through SEO, social media, CRM, online advertising, and other channels. Lead website updates and initiatives to constantly improve the customer journey and tactics to increase conversion, reduce bounce rate and cart abandonment while upholding the brand standards of Garden Street Analyse a range of data points and provide actionable insights for each brand and channel such as Meta, Google, Email, SEO etc. Monitor industry, online and mobile shopping trends, maintaining knowledge of competition and awareness of eCommerce opportunities to inform the strategies Track marketing performance on a daily/weekly basis to ensure business goals, budgets and targets are being met Actively apply customer insights and business performance data to identify areas of opportunity. Manage external contractors or agencies as required to execute projects and achieve goals. Collaborate with directors and other team members to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. What We Are Looking For An understanding of Garden Streets unique culture and a passion for its members and the Australian craft industries we work with. Direct, hands-on experience in leading communications and performance for a successful online e-commerce businesses or agency. E-commerce, email marketing and online advertising experience essential. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic brand, communications and marketing plans. Strong consumer psychology and creative strategy experience. Ability to analyse, understand and iterate on advertising creative and campaigns across multiple platforms, brands and geographies. Extensive experience in digital analytics with demonstrated experience in drawing actionable insights and making recommendations/strategy changes. Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
