PRIMARY DETAILJoin Macquarie University''s Accommodation Services team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support to our residential students. Your contributions will directly enhance the student residential experience, fostering a vibrant and supportive community.Annual Salary: $75,000 per annum + superannuationAppointment Type: Full-time (38 hours/week), continuingLocation: Wallumattagal Campus, North RydeThe RoleIn this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service and administrative support to enhance the accommodation experience for students residing at Macquarie University''s Central Courtyard.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all stages of the resident journey from initial enquires and room viewing bookings, orientation, rent collection, room inspections and contract enquires.Respond promptly to accommodation enquiries, ensuring all matters are addressed and resolved efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.Ensure that reception, office and communal areas are presented to the highest standard.Handle resident complaint and disputes with respect and care, escalating to the Accommodation Management Team as appropriate.Liaise with the Property team to raise and follow up on maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolution.Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements to administrative systems, processes, and procedures fostering a positive team culture.About UsCampus Life ( Ltd) is a controlled entity of Macquarie University. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a customer facing role, have strong communication skills and would love to work with, and support our culturally diverse residentsTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Proven background in administrative customer service roles, demonstrating effective and courteous communication with customer, both verbally and in writing.Strong administrative and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage adhoc requests, and meet deadlines.Experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders in accommodation or customer service settings.Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Capable of responding to challenging situations in an objective, professional, and considerate manner.Proven ability to work effectively and supportively with colleagues and key stakeholders.Competence in using MS Office applications; knowledge of StarRez or similar database systems is desirable.How to ApplyTo be considered for this role, please submit your application online by uploading your resume and a cover letter addressing the Essential Selection Criteria above.
