We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Grants Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting the Foundations Fundraising efforts. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a bold vision for childrens health in WA, working alongside a dynamic and purpose-driven team. About the role The Senior Grants Manager drives the strategic and operational success of the Foundations Grants Program, ensuring strong governance, efficient administration, and impactful stakeholder engagement. You will guide and mentor the Grants team, fostering a high performing function that delivers exceptional outcomes aligned with the Foundations mission. Working closely with the Chief Impact Officer and collaborating across internal departments, you will oversee complex grant making activities, proactively source high impact opportunities, and build meaningful relationships with clinicians, researchers, funding partners, and community stakeholders. This is a full time role, with part time options considered for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Grants Program, ensuring best practice governance, compliance, and impact. Lead, mentor, and support the Grants team members to deliver high quality grant making and administration. Oversee all grant making activities, including strategic sourcing, assessment, recommendations, and reporting to leadership and committees. Manage and strengthen key stakeholder relationships, including clinicians, researchers, collaborative partners, and funding partners. Develop high quality impact reporting, committee papers, and strategic insights for the Grant Sub Committee and Board. Ensure rigorous governance across all active grants, including milestone tracking, acquittals, and accurate record keeping. Drive strategic initiatives and continuous improvements that enhance the impact and effectiveness of the Grants Program. About You Youre an experienced grants professional and confident leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. You bring strong governance capability, exceptional relationship building skills, and a commitment to driving impactful outcomes for children and families. Youll bring: Extensive experience as a grant-maker or grant-seeker, with a minimum of 12 months in a leadership role. Strong relationship management capability, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives within a grants or funding environment. Strong financial acumen and comfort navigating governance and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency across Microsoft Office and experience with grants management systems (highly desirable). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced analytical skills, and a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
