About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join us in this crucial role to provide Social Work service to Wagga Wagga Ambulatory Rehabilitation Service community clients and inpatients of the Rehabilitation Ward at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. As the Senior Rehabilitation Social Worker, you will be responsible for: Clinical Service Delivery: Provide advanced social work services to complex cases, exercising independent professional judgement while ensuring care meets professional, legal, and ethical standards aligned with evidence-based practices and MLHD CORE values. Collaborative Care & Documentation: Lead multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient wellbeing and facilitate safe discharge, whilst maintaining accurate documentation within required KPIs and NSW Health guidelines. Professional Development & Supervision: Maintain ongoing professional development through training and clinical supervision, whilst supervising junior staff and students on placement. Service Improvement & Leadership: Contribute to service planning, quality improvement and research activities, demonstrate cultural competence in improving Aboriginal health outcomes, and foster positive workplace culture.
