Brimbank Tech School supports our partner schools in Brimbank by providing secondary students with the skills they need to flourish in future careers. It is a hub for engaging students and the community in project-based activities using technology and processes inspired by our local industries, including Health, Transport and Logistics, Professional Services, Agriculture, and Building and Construction.About the RoleBrimbank Tech School is seeking a highly capable and future-focused Future Skills Educator to design, deliver and coordinate high-quality professional learning that strengthens teaching practice across partner schools and stakeholders. Working under broad direction from the Operations and Partnerships Manager and in close collaboration with the Director and Head of Programs, you will contribute to the ongoing development of Brimbank Tech School''s professional learning offer. You will design and deliver workshops, events and programs aligned to contemporary teaching practice, industry-informed STEM learning and secondary school curriculum priorities.You will also supervise and mentor pre-service teachers, providing high-quality practicum experiences and modelling professional practice aligned with university and quality assurance requirements. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, confident facilitation, and the ability to build trusted relationships with teachers, school leaders and partners.This role is ideal for an experienced educator who thrives on working with teachers, leading professional learning, and modelling exemplary facilitation practice. You will play a central role in building teacher capability in future-focused STEM learning, supporting curriculum integration, and ensuring professional learning programs are relevant, practical and impactful.Commencing in March 2026, the Future Skills Educator will play a key role in establishing and delivering Brimbank Tech School''s professional learning programs in the lead-up to its mid-2026 opening and beyond.Position Key DutiesThe role focuses on teacher professional learning, facilitation excellence, event planning, and curriculum integration.
