Job Overview Australias largest national provider of autismspecific educational services. Permanent position or 12month max term contract positions available. Base salary $90,100 - $127,281 with special education allowance $3,699 p.a. Located at Aspect Vern Barnett School at Forestville NSW or at one of the satellite classes in the region. Satellite Classes are based in Lane Cove, Eastwood and St Ives (Permanent employees must be available to work there if needed in the future). Fulltime 5 days per week nonnegotiable. What You Will Do Aspect is a leader in education for children on the autism spectrum. Working at Aspect means you will be supported by a team of passionate professional educators. You will help create a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of students through evidenceinformed best practice in autism. Class sizes are small and you always have the assistance of a dedicated teacher aide. You will work closely in a team that includes the student family, teacher aide and other professionals such as our school psychologist, speech therapists and occupational therapists to develop and deliver quality learning programs. This wraparound multidisciplinary approach to support means that you will gain new skills and work experience that can help you reach your professional goals. Education Aspect Schools are leaders in education for children on the autism spectrum K12, leading the way in developing and applying innovative evidencebased education approaches that create positive outcomes for autistic students and young people. About the School Aspect Vern Barnett School provides placement for approximately 100 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 16 years from Forestville as well as from 4 satellite classes within the Catholic and Department of Education Schools in Sydneys northern suburbs.
